Berlin Township:

Voters Approve Bond Issue

Voters in Berlin Township went to the polls for the third time on December 9th to vote on new roofs for the John F. Kennedy School, the Dwight Eisenhower School, and the district administration building.  This time, the $6.5 million project was approved by a vote of 176-112.  The impact on the tax rate should be about $52 a year for the average home.  The bond will also provide upgrades to both heating and cooling systems.
